How the henna works
Eyebrow Henna at Happy Lashes and Cuts uses a henna-based eyebrow color applied directly to the brow area to enhance visible color and outline. The application deposits pigment into the brow hairs and on the skin immediately around them, creating a defined look while your technician shapes and refines the arch before color application.
The price for this service is $20 and includes eyebrow shaping as part of a single 30 minute appointment. Shaping happens before color is applied so the henna follows the refined outline, letting your stylist match the visible result to your face and preferences within the allotted session time.
What to expect during appointment
Your appointment begins with a brief consultation and shaping, included in the $20 price. After shaping, the henna-based color is applied to the brows; the technician monitors development and then removes the product. The session is designed to fit into a 30 minute slot so we can complete shaping, coloring and a final check within that timeframe.
After removal your stylist will assess the shape and visible color, making small adjustments if needed. They will also summarize scheduling recommendations—such as when to return for maintenance—so you leave with a clear plan that matches your lifestyle and the quick in-and-out format many local commuters prefer.
Local access and seasonality
We’re located along Alameda’s Webster Street corridor, convenient for clients coming by car, tube or ferry from Oakland or San Francisco. Early-morning and evening appointments accommodate commuters using the Webster and Posey Tubes or the Alameda Ferry Terminal, while weekend bookings work well for shoppers and families visiting Park Street and nearby attractions.
Henna brow demand peaks in May, June, November and December—months when travel, weddings and holiday gatherings increase grooming needs—so expect fuller schedules then and book ahead. We serve Alameda and nearby communities including Oakland, Berkeley, Piedmont, San Leandro and Emeryville; ask about occasional add-ons or discounts for visitors to local attractions.
