Get answers to common questions about Y Lashes.
Yes—Y Lashes are designed to be lightweight and gentle, making them suitable for most lash types. During consultation, technicians assess lash health and recommend appropriate styles or alternatives to protect natural lashes and ensure safe, comfortable wear.
Y Lashes generally last 2–4 weeks depending on your natural lash cycle and aftercare. We recommend fills every 2–3 weeks to maintain fullness. Proper cleansing and avoiding oil-based products will extend retention and keep lashes looking fresh.
When applied and maintained correctly, Y Lashes should not harm your natural lashes. Our certified technicians use gentle techniques and the light design reduces stress. Follow recommended aftercare, avoid rubbing, and schedule fills to minimize strain and preserve lash health.
Y Lashes combine finer strands arranged in Y-shaped clusters, creating more volume per attachment while remaining lightweight. Unlike heavy volume sets, they deliver lush fullness with less adhesive and reduced pressure on natural lashes for a comfortable finish.
Gently cleanse with oil-free cleansers, avoid waterproof mascaras and oil-based products, and skip excessive touching or rubbing. Sleep on a silk pillowcase and attend regular fills. Proper care preserves adhesion and keeps lashes looking full and healthy longer.
We generally recommend avoiding mascara, especially waterproof formulas, as they can clump and weaken bonds. If desired, use a water-based mascara sparingly on the tips only after the adhesive fully cures, roughly 24-48 hours post-application.
